Set in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park between Leyburn and Hawes this modern converted barn situated in the grounds of Prospect Farm House, with exposed beams throughout, enjoys extensive views over the Dale from the rear of the property. Prospect Barn is maintained to a 4 star standard and is extremely well presented with quality fixtures and furnishings of a high standard having oil fired central heating throughout the property to ensure a cosy and comfortable atmosphere is maintained throughout your stay.

Accommodation: Ground floor level throughout ideal for all age groups - Entrance directly into modern fully equipped dining kitchen - Internal French Doors lead into a spacious lounge furnished to a high standard with colour TV and Sky package - Separate bathroom with modern shower cubicle and rolled top bath - Master bedroom can be configured as a King Size Bed or Twin Beds (Please advise required configuration when booking) being tastefully furnished and having views over Wensleydale Note: The property could accommodate a small infant up to 12 months of age - Travel Cot & High Chair available on request (no linen supplied).

There is a private shared and secure lawned garden with guests of Prospect Farm House at the rear of the property for relaxing and enjoying the views over Wensleydale or for al-fresco dining on those warmer evenings – BBQ and garden furniture being all part of the package.

For the more adventurous walks or cycling start directly from the door across the Dale and beyond and for those looking for a more relaxing break the location proves an ideal midpoint base for exploring the Dales by car.

West Witton enjoys the benefit of a traditional Village Shop with Tea Rooms, the Fox & Hounds Pub serving Real Ales and Dales grub whilst boasting the regions renowned award winning Wensleydale Heifer Fish Restaurant and weekly visits from the mobile Fish & Chip van to complete the self-catering package.

Local attractions include Aysgarth Falls, location for the Kevin Costner Robin Hood movie, Bolton Castle recently featured on TV in 'The Dales' fronted by Ade Edmundson and the Wensleydale Railway heritage line running from Redmire to Leeming Bar with the occasional steam train rattling the lines!
