Swinithwaite, North Yorkshire

The Temple is an 18th Century Grade II listed folly in its own small copse on the north side of the Leyburn to Hawes road in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The accommodation is very compact, comprising two octagonal rooms connected by a stone staircase and outside balcony.

The Temple enjoys magnificent views across Wensleydale to Bolton Castle (which is floodlit at night) to the north and the Lower Force at Aysgarth Falls to the west. Although the property is conveniently situated just 30 yards from the main road, a high stone wall and trees shield guests from any intrusion. The nearest villages are Aysgarth which is 1½ miles away and West Witton 2 miles away. Askrigg, Leyburn and Hawes are also within easy travelling distance.

One room comprising kitchen, sitting and dining area. Shower room and WC in adjoining room. The ground floor has a doorway on it's east side and a sash window with date stone on it's north side.

First floor

Spiral stone staircase with access to first floor via open air balcony leading to bedroom with 5' double bed.
